About Me
My research interests span the histories of science and of religion (and especially their intersection) in German and British colonies in the South Pacific in the modern period.
I am currently writing about missionary anthropology, the secularisation of medical mission in the Solomon Islands, the European exploration of German New Guinea, and the regulation of 'witchcraft' within the British Pacific empire.
At present, I am based in Copenhagen (Denmark) and hold an honorary affiliation with the University of Queensland (Australia).
